We are looking for a new Senior Head Coach to replace our current coach in the near future. Ideally the successful candidate will hold an ASA Club Coach Certificate with sufficient experience to show evidence of motivation, time management, team building and competitive success.

 The club was promoted to “Speedo League Division 1” for a season in 2006 for the first time in many years. The coach should show commitment to develop training with vision to maintain and build on success to date. Involved in the Swim 21 programme, the club is positive towards the future and thus further training will be available to the chosen candidate.

Currently the time commitment Monday – Thursday is 7.5 hours of water-based training. The attendance at appropriate competitions is desired. A strong team presence is important to deliver the squad’s training in conjunction with the club committee, guiding other coaches and teachers to offer the swimmers the best training possible. The chosen candidate must become aware of, and understand, the facility’s Emergency Action Plan and Normal Operating Procedures (EAP and NOP) and follow and promote the ASA Child Protection Policy.
