The club was formed in 1966 and trains from Bromsgrove Dolphin Centre for senior squad and at both the Bromsgrove School Pool and Dolphin Centre for the younger squads. The 40th anniversary celebrations took place on Friday 7th July 2006 at Bromsgrove Rugby Club, taking advantage of the warm weather by hosting a Pig Roast. Entertainment followed from a live band that advanced the relaxed family atmosphere. Former Committee members and swimmers attended with speeches received with vigour. The 2005/06 season has been fantastic with the club gaining promotion to the Speedo League Division 1 for the forthcoming season. The success and dedication necessary to achieve this shines through everyone connected with the club, the committee has worked hard and now the club are firmly affiliated with the ASA Swim21 programme. In the Worcester Winter League we finished 4th over all. The Mercian Summer League is proving a valuable chance for swimmers who do not have district times to compete. The club sprint gala went through without that much disruption to training giving swimmers valuable race experience in preparation for the new season after the holiday. Throughout summer all training is at the Dolphin Centre on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings 7:30 - 9:30. The School Pool is closed. Swimmers who normally swim at the school pool have time allocated during this time. You should see your teacher or coach to find out when.
